Hand Built Crystalline Ceramics by Sam Dickenson

Sam Dickenson is a ceramic artist based in West Auckland (NZ). All of Sam's crystalline ceramics are hand built and she creates her own glazes, adjusting the chemistry to grow intriguing crystalline patterns on her pieces.

Sam's work combines an enjoyment for creating challenging shapes made with slabs and experimentation with striking crystalline glazes, which produces exciting, contemporary pieces. Due to the nature of crystalline glaze, every piece is completely unique.
